Wolf Tooth SRAM Gravel Elliptical 8-Bolt Direct Mount Chainring The Wolf Tooth SRAM Gravel Elliptical 8-Bolt Direct Mount Chainring is made for SRAM 8-bolt cranks. The special oval shape smooths the pedal stroke and results in better traction and more power. In addition, this chainring uses Wolf Tooth’s patented Drop-Stop Wide/Narrow tooth profile which optimizes drivetrain efficiency and eliminates dropped chains. It also allows clearance for mud and debris while reducing friction. The newly updated tooth profile works with SRAM Flattop chain in addition to other 9, 10, 11, and 12-speed chains.
